Weather; clear morning, snowing in the afternoon
A quiet day on the slopes yesterday meant fresh tracks for everyone. The snow to skier/boarder ratio was at an all time high for the season. Our guests made the most of the conditions. The snow was moist but fast and there were some decent soft sections. Winds were blowing quite strongly up at Yamabiko so the more protected runs like Uenotaira and Yunomine were more popular.
Today we’re looking at blue skies for the morning before the skies cloud over in the afternoon and start to drop some more of the good stuff Temperatures will be much lower so the snow will stay a whole lot dryer. There’s still some heavy snow to come, with some predicted for this evening through all of Wednesday. Snowfalls will be heaviest in the middle of the day tomorrow and winds will once again be blowing strong.
