New Snow; 35cm
Base at top; 350cm
Still snowing in Nozawa Onsen.
We have had close to 1 meter fall in the last 48 Hours and was still coming down heavy this morning.
The shovels are well and truly back in full swing. Will be another epic day on the Mountain today with about 40cm of fresh snow, cold temps and no crowds.
Amazing what a difference a few days can make with a very wintery feel returning.
Yesterday was nice up top and as good as some of the days we had in January with light bottomless powder on offer.
Down on the lower slopes was a bit heavy going but a magnificent day and looks like more of the same today.
The outlook is very promising indeed, after the sunshine of the weekend we have some heavy snow forecast for next week again. After a warmer February, March is looking like a good month to be in the mountains.
