New Snow; 0cm
Snow at the Top; 335cm
Another great day in Nozawa this morning with a thin layer of cloud but blue sky poking thru.
No new snow to report overnight but will still be nice conditions on the mountain.
May be a little icy early but sure to soften as the day goes.
Yesterday was another great day with good snow conditions up top, the last few days have been as good as any day of the season. Was getting a little warm down low with the sunshine.
Outlook is good with some light snow forecast for tonight and then heavy falls on Monday and Tuesday night followed by sunshine later in the week. Freezing level should stay relatively cold too.
Last night we had a Lantern Festival up on the Hikage slopes with drummers, fireworks and fondue. A good turn out and an awesome display.
We have a few terrific French Families that come and visit us every year always great to have them in house. Bring a nice vibe to the Lodge and we look forward to having them back.
