Snow wise we’re looking at a light snow fall during today and a heavier dump overnight. A few clear days next week with snowfall to commence again on Wednesday.
The festivities for the fire festival are going to begin today with the chosen men bringing the trees down into the village. It’s going to be amazing to watch as they prepare and construct the shrine for Monday. Being one of the three most famous festivals in Japan you’re very lucky if you’re in Nozawa Onsen this weekend!
Also on the Nagasaka slope today from 10 – 3 you can try out snow biking for free! If you’re keen to continue for a few runs night skiing is also on again.
Have a great day up there, stay safe and we’ll see you on the mountain.
