The powder days continue

A bit foggy around the village this morning.  We should hopefully see the sun peak out through the snow showers though.  Looks like we’ll get some snow today and tomorrow and most likely light snow continuing next week.

Yesterday’s powder was fun for all in snowy conditions and after last nights fall get up there early to make some fresh tracks.

Skiing in the clouds

Good morning everyone.  30cm of that amazing Japanese snow again overnight which means powder powder powder.  Get up there early to get amongst the fresh stuff.

Snow will continue to fall lightly today with around 10cm predicted.  The sun should come out tomorrow afternoon before some heavy snow on Saturday.

Powder day!

Powder day!

What a fabulous day we had yesterday.  Snow in the morning and an amazing blue bird afternoon.  The powder gods have arrived with nearly 30cm of powder overnight and continuing through the day.  Wax those boards, maybe even try out some new powder gear at one of the many rental shops in the village!

Snow will continue to fall lightly tomorrow with the sun forecast to reappear on Friday.

Yesterday the locals preparing for todays heavy snowfall

Get your powder skis and boards out we are at it again!

The snow began falling yesterday and will build through out the day, with the heavy snowfall expected tonight and tomorrow so you’ll be able to carve new lines in the powder all day.

Remember there still is night skiing tonight and tomorrow night, then it return back to just Saturday night for night skiing.

January is our biggest snowfall month and it has started off well, with the long range forecast looking good.

Happy New Year!

We had a beautiful end to 2017 with an amazing clear sunny day on the slopes.  Much fun was had with night skiing, and the fireworks were incredible.

Night skiing will continue until the 3rd January.

Light snow will start falling today building to heavy snow by Wednesday.
