Great views from the mountain.

Great views from the mountain.

Good morning!  After a fairly calm night overnight we can rest the snow dancing legs as the snow showers ease off this morning.  Hopefully we’ll have some blue skies so get some photos of our beautiful village and resort with just a sprinkling of snow forecast for today and 8cm tonight.

Rest won’t be for long though… steady snowfall will begin again early next week.

Sure there is still plenty of powder to be found.  Have an amazing time out there, stay safe and we’ll see you on the mountain.

Nozawa Onsen Snow Report 28th Dec 2017

And it just keeps coming!

Nozawa Onsen Snow Report 28th Dec 2017

Fields of snow

We’ve had a bumper two days of snow here in Nozawa Onsen.  This December has well and truly been one to remember and we are definitely setup for an epic season here in Nozawa Onsen.

If you made it onto the mountain yesterday you would have been swimming… in snow… When so much snow has fallen in such a short time it is a timely reminder to ride safe and don’t go out there alone.

The current storm cell should be easing tomorrow with another cell brewing for the weekend.

New Years Eve is also fast approaching and there will be festive events happening in the village which we will keep you up to date with in the coming days!

Signing off, get out there and have some fun today.  See you on the mountain!

New Jones Premium powder snow boards are now in Nozawa Central Rentals, it’s the perfect time to try one with all this powder Click here
