Conditions will be great on the groomers today.Clouds will be hanging around until tomorrow as we wait for them to give us some snow!Hopefully the sun will peek out at some stage today. The forecast is showing another sunny day on Saturday.Long range is showing the next heavy snow dump around the 5th March.
We still have wonderful snow and great skiing conditions with less people on the mountain and in the village after the end of Chinese New Year.Bring on Magic March!
Have a great day up there, stay safe and we’ll see you on the mountain!
We have blue skies for days here in Nozawa Onsen. Some chance of snowfall in the middle of the week so we have perfect conditions for some great action and holiday shots.Whilst we wait for the next powder day it’s time to play in the park and get some tricks happening!Take some inspiration from the best of the best at the Olympics and get styling.
Have a great day up there, stay safe and we’ll see you on the mountain!
Another 5cm of snowfall overnight to top up the runs which are in great condition. Tomorrow will be one of those magic bluebird days here in Nozawa Onsen, we should then see some light snow during the middle of next week.Let’s hope that march brings some great snowfall!
This morning the red bull event should be in full swing as the competitors charge down the mountain.
Have a great day up there, stay safe and we’ll see you on the mountain!
Welcome to Nozawa snow report, we woke up to a bit of sunshine and scattered cloud this morning, this is forecast to develop into light snow by this evening. It looks like this will be the same for Sunday. We have great condition on piste at the moment so get up onto the mountain early to take advantage of those freshly groomed runs.
Next weeks forecast looks to be a repeat of this weeks with snowfall followed by sunshine then snowfall with the heaviest dumping of snow at the end of the week.
Have a great day up there, stay safe and we’ll see you on the mountain!
Good morning everyone, it looks like we will have another blue bird day, then clouds are predicted rolling in this evening, so grab your cameras and get some great shots from the top of the mountain. The clouds should deliver light snow tonight and then light to moderate snow tomorrow and on Sunday.
While everybody was tucked in bed some early birds got to see the first light of dawn and the photo shows it was worth the effort.
Long range forecasts don’t always happen but if the forecast for the beginning of March is correct, bring your snorkel. We will keep you updated as it develops.
Have a great day up there, stay safe and we’ll see you on the mountain!
